Lowestoft's very own fishing choir - The Rogues Shanty Chorus have performed six sell-out shows at The Seagull (theatre) since they launched in 2015.
Their music and performances aims to keep alive the tradition of Lowestoft's unique coastal, cultural and musical heritage, generating interest to existing and new audiences by exploring the folk music created by the fishing communities of the town.
They are back in 2022 with ‘Call of the Sea’ and you can be sure that they will bring their usual inimitable mix of sea shanties and evocative storytelling performed with an enviable mix of authentic traditional pub singaround and unique charming humour.
